What should have been a quick bathroom sink replacement turned into a nightmare. An extra quarter turn on the temporary shut off valve snapped the entire valve off the rusted main line and scorching hot water began to shoot out of the wall into my units bathroom. I was able to turn the water off to the entire building but needed a plumber to come out immediately to repair the pipe and put on a new valve.
I called 4 places and Terry Plumbing was the only place that said a plumber will call me soon and someone ACTUALLY called me! And within 20 minutes!
Robert was the gentleman that i worked with and he was timely, courteous and professional. I sent him photos of the broken pipe, explained my situation to him and he was able to give me a rough estimate, an eta of an hour to get to my unit and an estimate of 1.5 hours of repair time.
Robert arrived within the hour, it took him apx 1.5 hrs to repair the pipe and we were able to restore the water back to the building that night!

I had called Terry's looking for someone to help me with my clogged bathtub and bathroom sink. Jim showed up in less then an hour and fixed both my problems immediately. He gave me some tips on how to keep it from further clogs like buying a strainer to keep hair from going down drains. The price was VERY affordable. I would highly recommend using them in the future.

We had a slow-running faucet in our bathroom vanity. In my head I was expecting we'd be tearing out walls to repipe down to the basement. Justin came over, took a quick look at it, figured out the clog was in the flexible line, and cleared it in under 5 minutes. Super smart, practical, and best of all, I didn't spend a ton of money. Impressed! I called around 7:45pm because several drains on my house were not draining properly or at all! To my surprise Justin arrived 15 mins later and fixed the issue immediately. He is extremely knowledgeable of his profession and gave us several pointers to prevent this issue from happening again. Today I called Terry's Neighborhood Plumbing because I needed an immediate fix for a pipe that was leaking in my kitchen under the sink (I have hardwood floors in the kitchen so I was concerned!) I called Terry's, who I've used before and had a WONDERFUL experience. I asked if someone could come out right away to fix the leak. Within 5 minutes I received a call from Mark and Jim who said they could be there within the hour! They came in less than an hour and fixed a difficult pipe that required additional work. Jim and Mark spent about 2 hours fixing it, letting me know what the problem was and how they were going to address it. In the end they went above and beyond in every way, from the timeliness of showing up to the extra "fixes" and keeping the area clean to making sure I understood the problem and cost. I will always call them for all my plumbing issues, Mark and Jim were AWESOME!!

We had a very good experience with Tim and team. Had a pipe burst a couple evenings before Christmas. Got a human on the phone right away (despite being off-hours) and set up something for the next morning. They called twice to let me know how long it would take to get here and that they were on the say. Quick, solid, straightforward and reasonable price. Very clear explanation of what they were going to do and why. Would use again.

Terry and his team took care of us last weekend with basement water issues. They were prompt and professional and explained the issues with detail and thought. I really appreciate their work and intend to use them in the future as needed.

I have had a problem with my utility drain not draining and most recently a flooding issue.

I called Terry to make an appointment. He offered me a free estimate post a job he was currently working on. I then asked" Do you have time to provide the service?" He replied "of course, I can be there within the hour".
Not only was he on time he was early ready to work.

His prices were so reasonable I had him do extra work to ensure I got everything rodded and cleaned to prevented any further clogs.

I have now placed him into my calender for regular maintenance.

Today I dropped a piece of electric razor down the sink drain. Given my incompetence when it comes to plumbing, I immediately thought I'd need a plumber to take apart the pipes to get it out. But when I called Terry's in hopes of scheduling an appointment, they instead recommended I use a shop vac to suction the thing out. Thanks for the tip -- I appreciate the honesty and thoughtfulness, and saving me time and money!
